Today was beautiful so we went to the park for playgroup. As you can see Parker had a wonderful time. Cole did too...chillin in his stroller chewing on his fists. LOL The kid ALWAYS has them in his mouth. Anyway, Parker was AWESOME today. I had to run errands after the park and he was soooo good. Lately he hasn't been such a good listener. So anyway he got the cars that he wanted on Sunday and didn't behave for because he did today. Sat in the cart, got out to get the cars and got back in and stayed there til we left. I didn't think he was mine. LOL He behaved all afternoon too without a nap until our walk. Then he took about a 20 minute snooze. Today was also a day of FIRSTS for him too. He went potty by himself 3 times today one of which was a poopy. Gotta love that. He opened the fridge and he also got completely undressed except for his socks...all of which happened at dinner time. Gotta love a little streaker running through the house when your trying to eat dinner. And yes I got pics of that too. He was using his little chairs as cars and his little butt was peeking over the seat part (he had the chairs laying on their sides). Too cute.

Off to bed...it's my day at the SPA tomorrow. I can't wait from 9 til about 1 I'll be in a little bit of HEAVEN. Cannot wait! Thanks to my hubby...it was my anniversary gift.

Bill took this today while I was reading to Parker before nap time. He's back to falling asleep on his own again. WOOHOO I didn't mind rocking him, but with Cole it's been rough.

Boys are in bed and now I'm off to scrap...been doing that a lot lately. Feels good!

When we came home from Walmart this evening Parker insisted on playing in the rain. Since he already had his raincoat on we got on his boots and headed out. The first pic is my FAVORITE!

my hubby's new bundle of joy! Just picked it up from getting the stickers on this afternoon. So from now until he gets her all wired for lights and sirens....I'm a widow. Not to mention he'll probably detail it too. And to make matters worse I'll have to watch for her as I back out of the garage too. Geesh! LOL He's happy doesn't have to take his truck on calls and they will actually KNOW that he's with the FIRE DEPT!

Took some pics of Cole this evening before I started dinner. He was just giggling and smiling like nobody's business until I got it out...the camera! Little stinker. I think I did manage catching a pic of every single facial expression he could possibly make except crying!

Anyway off to scrap, new pics came today and both boys have been in bed since 6:15...it was a HORRIBLE day for naps for both boys. So early to bed it was and not a moment to soon! :)

We were able to go outside and play before nap today. Parker had a blast as usual. Got this pic as he was coming into his playhouse.

I think I've finally figured out Coles sleep schedule. He went to bed at 7 last night woke up at 1:45 and 5 to eat then woke up at 7. Get this he normally cries when he wakes up...not today he was happy and playing in his crib. He actually has taken 2 naps in his crib also. The first one was an hour long but was in his crib 45 minutes. Too bad I can't get him to sleep for his nap right now in the crib...he lasted 30 minutes and that's it. Now he is out in my arms. So I think I might just have to nap too. I love naps!

Let's see I got picture happy today so....the first pic is actually from yesterday but thought it turned out pretty cool. Parker wanted to hold Cole and as soon as I put him in his lap he said,"Momma go get your camera and take pictures!" So I did. It was getting dark outside and they were sitting right by the window. I like it!
Today was so NICE! We got outside and actually played all afternoon. Cole even enjoyed the nice weather. We even managed to go on a walk in which both boys fell asleep. Too bad that was the only GOOD nap either got today. Anyway, Parker had a blast riding his JEEP and his tricycle. Notice Cole...our little thug. That darn cap kept turning!:) And the last pic is Cinders. She finally was outside more than 5 minutes today. I think we all miss the nice weather and hope it stays around for good.
The boys have been in bed and asleep since 7. Ahhh lovin it! Off to finish watchin Idol and enjoy my "ME" time!

Today was fun! Started the day with breakfast at IHOP with Grammy and Papa. Then we went to playgroup at Chuck E. Cheese. Parker had a blast and didn't want to leave. When we got home we actually got to play outside for a bit too. A little chilly still but at least we could be outside with out freezing.

Man look at the difference a few actions make on photos using Photoshop. The first one I used a color pop action, the second was color pop and dreamify. The one of ColeI just adjusted the curves a bit. It's amazing what you can do to a photo with that program...love it!

My little baby is getting BIG! I forgot we had the exersaucer until my Mom said something about it this morning. So I went and dug it out of the attic. Just look at my not so little anymore Coley. He didn't do much playing, just kind of sat there taking in the new view. The tongue pic cracks me up...I have one very similar of me when I was a baby. I tried to find it but no luck.

Anyway, I spent the day cleaning. Dropped stuff off at Goodwill today. And purging my scrap stuff for the yard sale that the local scrapbook store is putting on in a couple weeks. I have a 2 foot pile of stuff sitting next to me. Can't wait to get rid of it and earn some money to get NEW stuff.

Today was a fun day! We went to the Science Center (2nd pic) in Nashville. Parker had a blast and kept us running around like crazy amongst all the other visitors. Geesh! The place was a sauna too which kind made it a tad miserable. After that we went to eat at T.G.I. Fridays...good but not we are gonna go back really soon good. Does that make sense. LOL

Coley looked so cute today in his Gymboree outfit from Grammy and Papa...thanks!

Started carrying my point and shoot camera around today! So much easier than lugging my big ole DSLR with...works great for snapshots (pics 1 &2.)

Peace and quiet...right at this moment but it won't last long. Cole has been restless! It's always nice though when both boys nap at the same time. Especially when Cole decides to take a long nap too.

Last night Cole slept from 7:30 to 4:30 a.m.! I was SHOCKED and in a little bit of pain since he ate at 6. Ahh but it was so nice to sleep and get 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Hopefully he'll keep it up.

Today I went to Once Upon A Child and found a double stroller for $90. It is in EXCELLENT shape so I couldn't pass it up. It's a Graco Duo Glider! Can't wait to use it.

Another boring day here and almost gone. Maybe I'll get to do some scrapping tonight!

Today we had some friends over to play so I got to take pictures of other kids besides my own. This is one I did manage to take of Parker during a meltdown. He looks a lot like this lately.

This is Leah, Ella's big sister. Love those pig tails. So adorable!

And this is Ayden. Ayden left today for IL. We watched him while his parents closed on their house here. We are so sad to see them leave, but wish them the BEST OF LUCK in IL. He's such a cutie pie. Him and Parker got along so well today! Yay! I can't wait til they get settled in and see the pics I took of him today. So excited!

Anyway, that was our morning in a nutshell.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I couldn't decide which picture to post today obviously...LOL! These are my favorites today. Especially the ones of Parker. He doesn't look at me and smile anymore at all! I was standing on the end table taking pics of both of them and he said, "Mommy get down you're gonna fall!" I about died laughing but he was so serious and kept repeating it. Whatever it takes I guess to get him to smile. And that last pic....so the type of photography I want to capture. Another fave! Don't you just love Cole's onesie...found it at Old Navy! He's a chunk for sure...the other day I got on the scale with him and he weighed 14 pounds! Told you he was CHUNKY! The second pic I just love his eyes. I could look into his eyes all day long...just beautiful!

On a side note {potty training} + Parker= FANTASTIC! He's been going poopy in the potty for the past 2 days. He's even started going to the bathroom by himself. We couldn't be happier.

Off to the store....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!

Gotta give credit to DH for the last 2 pics today. Thanks baby for taking over. Also a HUGE thanks to Grammy and Papa for the Valentine today. We are watching Bob the Builder as I type. He was excited about the candy too, but said I don't want to try it! Oh well! That was really for Mommy right?! We'll see you tomorrow night.

Well since I didn't pull my camera out until a little bit ago I had to use the flash, so the quality=not so good. Anyway, Cole has discovered his hands recently and is always chewing on them. Right after I took this pic he spent the next 20 minutes giggling to itsy bitsy spider. So fun to hear him be so HAPPY...melts my heart! Parker was playing with his silly puddy in this photo. We went to Hobby Lobby and he wanted it and didn't even know what it was. Can't beat a $1.27 for a day full of FUN with none other than silly puddy. He also ate a grilled cheese sandwhich for lunch. Amazing I just wanted to jump up and down I was sooooo HAPPY! It was heart shaped which helped I think. He loved it and said it was "tasty!" Also, the potty training is still going GREAT! We haven't had a pee pee accident in a while which is super nice. The other we are still working on but he's getting better at going on the toilet.

Off to eat dinner...gonna try PBJ sandwhich tonight.

Grandpa came to visit yesterday and stayed the night. Parker had fun this morning in his semi pressing buttons and tooting the horn.

Pman playing in his NEW raincoat I bought him today. I've been looking for one for almost a year...since I bought the boots. Now it just needs to warm up a little and rain and he is set.

A little photoshoot kind of day...

Ok, so I did my hair a bit different today and had to take pics. I have this thing about taking pics when I do something different to see if it looks "good!" I know I'm such a nerd but hey what can I say. As usual, Parker wanted nothing to do with pictures! I grabbed him and this is what I got...not bad. I wish I had my point and shoot handy because he was hilarious trying to look through the view finder while I had the remote. He was "taking pictures" he said. Too funny...the kid cracks my up. Then Cole woke up and he was HAPPY and didn't mind being naked on the floor...so 353 pics later! Yep I had a little trigger finger. I did however, get rid of about 160 of them. Still so many to go through. Anyway, I love all these for different reasons: 1st those eyes of Coles...beautiful! (Thanks to help from Kerrie, my photog friend, for showing me a few things on my camera. Yep, I've had it 2 years and still learning what buttons are for.)
2nd pic he looks like a frog on its back...love it! 3rd pic I love fun pics of the two of us with the remote. 4th pic WOW that's me...and I have to say I look pretty darn good! LOL I'm not one to say that about myself either...it's a GOOD day! Bill has requested a BIG pic of that for his locker at work. :)

Anyway, it's been a good day when I can capture AWESOME pictures of my boys and ME! Gotta go we are headed out to eat.

One of each of the boys today. Didn't do much but go to story time at the library this morning. Parker refused to take a nap but fortunately for me he has been in a good mood. That means early bed time tonight in like 45 minutes...woohoo! Off to eat dinner...another new recipe from the latest Southern Living Mag...Maw Maw's Chicken! Smells yummy!
