Good times!

This week we've been busy with different activities. Some that were an extension of P's special day. lol The kid cracks me up...seriously! He's not so patiently waiting for gymnastics in the morning. He let me know he wants to really go everyday. Ahhh, nope not forking over that kind of money. Sorry dude. On Tuesday he got to meet his new teacher for preschool. I think he's going to do pretty well and have a great time too. He even has a friend in his class. While there
I contemplated signing up Coley in the 1's class. Well since she said they would make room if I wanted. Needless to say, it didn't take too long and it was done. I will officially have 8 hours a week to MYSELF. HALLELUJAH!! On Thursdays I'll be involved with MOPS and a women's bible study... so looking forward to that. On another good note I've been referred by friends for photography. A little nervous but really excited about it too. I also have one lined up for a business in a couple months. So maybe this is it. ;) It's a GOD thing...lp;)

And one of Mr. Mischievous in the toy box teasing Parker with the truck saying, "Parker, here you go!" pulls it back and says, "mine." Brotherly love.

Gymnastics!

I finally did it! After constant reminders from a very nice neighbor, I signed the boys and myself up for gymnastics. I guess I've been trying to avoid because "they shouldn't be that old already" where it's time for weekly scheduled activities. Much to my dismay and the kids enjoyment, it is. I took Parker for a trial last night he LOVED every bit of it. Coley didn't like one bit of having to WAIT in the lobby. He shrieked at the top of his lungs like only my Coley does. And WOW you should have seen the nasty looks coming from the other parents in the packed lobby. My lord you would have thought I had ten heads. Yep, I have a screaming child, you've been there to my friend. DEAL WITH IT! So we exited the building until the said child calmed down a bit. As soon as we walked back in I asked what type of classes they had for Cole. Mommy and me. Sign us up and when can we come. Today was the day where both boys would be in the gym together in their seperate classes. It was AWESOME. Coley loved it because he could check in on "Kahker" as he calls him. Calling out his name when he wasn't too busy running to the next activity. So it's a date me and my 2 boys every Friday at 10. I'm lovin it.

Birthday presents!

Parker has been enjoying his new gifts this week. He's managed to give all 4 of his monster trucks custom paint jobs...which he LOVES. Who ever thought of that idea is a GENIUS at least
in my eyes and P's too. When he's not playing with one of his new trucks he's jumping on his new trampoline. Him and Coley LOVE it. Parker says he's still NOT 4 and has 6 more weeks before his birthday. LOL I told him actually you have 5 more days until you are officially 4. He's not having it. Maybe breakfast in bed on Sunday and more gifts will convince him he's OFFICIALLY 4.

Fun stuff!

This week has been a busy one. This weekend even busier. Thursday we took the boys horse back riding with Moms Club. It was a beautiful morning...perfect for riding horses. Parker the night before sais he WAS NOT going to ride a horse, just watch. Yeah right. He hopped right
up on Smoke and started giggling and had a grin from ear to ear. Cole wasn't to sure about it at
first and needed a bit of coaxing to hang on. I'm thankful he didn't scream and I'm thinking had
an enjoyable ride. On Friday, we took Cole to the doctor because he's had a very congested cough. Well we unsuspectingly found out he has an ear infection. So he's on antibiotics for 10 days. I tell
you the Walmart pharmacy staff is getting to know us really well and our insurance co.
I'm sure is sick of paying our claims. ;)

On Saturday morning we had Parker's 4th birthday party celebration at Go Jump. It's an awesome place for both kids and adults as you can see in some of the pictures. He still
says he's three and he's really right. His birthday is next Sunday and I guess I drilled it
into him that his it was just his birthday party day on Saturday. So we'll see how well
he takes turning for next Sunday the 24th. I cannot believe he'll be 4.

Thanks to everyone who made the drive from IL to attend. We are truly blessed with such awesome family and friends. Thanks everyone for the gifts too. He LOVES each and every
one of them. I'm really proud of him too because he's been sharing with Coley. That doesn't
happen very often willingly.

So heres to another week. Hopefully I'll be a better photographer and a better blogger.

I did it!

Can you believe it? I can't, but it's done and I have a BIG boy now. I cut off the little guy's curls this morning. It wasn't looking too good after I had trimmed it up with just the scissors so Bill suggested the clippers. And here he is cute as a button! And the back...bye bye curls! You can scroll down to yesterday's post and see the curls that are no more.

Water Ballons!

The boys spent the late morning today outside with water balloons. I spent it inside trying to get over the nausea from last nights cough syrup. Silly me took 2 tsp. of the hydrocodone prescribed for my cough instead of the 1 tsp. (the bottle says 1 or 2) I picked the bigger because at the time I was in a horrible coughing fit. LOL I went down hill and fast. Nausea, sweating, dizziness...I wasn't pretty. I could barely walk and when I got to my bedroom door, I couldn't. I was so sick feeling I thought I was going to lose it BIG TIME. My sweet husband carried me to bed. A warning on the bottle said may cause drowsiness...umm right! LOL I laid in bed wide awake with my eyes closed because I was so dizzy (that seemed to help) for 2 hours. Finally, I slept and WITHOUT COUGHING. I can't say it was enjoyable because I was nauseaous and Bill was on a fire call til 2:30. So am I feeling better? Nope. I had to call the doc again today for more meds which led to another trip to the pharmacy. Geesh!

When I've not been totally yucky I've been sewing new drapes for the living room. LOL yards of fabric and me DO NOT get along well at all. So far so good though...I guess. I'm attaching the tabs next (back tabbed drapes). Then I need to hang the new rod and hem. Sounds so much easier typing it. Haha.

My boys!

They never cease to amaze me!

We took advantage of the tax free weekend today and headed to Opry Mills in Nashville. Luckily, I had a plan to get there almost as soon as the mall opened. We did and it wasn't too crazy. By the time we made it to Stride Rite EVERYONE was in there. I think it was a prerequisite before you went in the store that your children had to be SCREAMING or CRYING! Of course this was the MUST GO there store to get P some shoes for school. We find shoes and he LOVES them wants to wear them to play when we get home. No sir, they are for school and church. Well, what my eldest child does my youngest SCREAMS to do as well. Luckily, I had Daddy to help. So we pick out P's shoes then go over and see Mr. Monster and he is just loving the shoes he had on his feet. Just a hopping through the aisles of screaming children, who are obviously not enjoying shoe shopping like Coley. I hated to take them off because I knew it was inevitable...the SCREAM! It wasn't bad as it blended in with the other chorus of screamers. We managed to get P 2 pairs of shoes and Coley none and we survived. And another funny as of late. A little background....P always goes potty before showering or taking a bath. Cole now has to stand by the potty before he will shower or bathe. Well tonight we were eating dinner and P was done. He said from the living room that he had to go potty. So Cole and I finish eating. Then we were headed outside and Cole is in the bathroom door saying, Mama and pointing in the bathroom. I said come Cole. He wouldn't move and then kind of squated and made a grunting noise. So I go in and he's grabbing at his clothes wanting them off to sit on the potty. It hit me all of a sudden. The little monster remembered his brother going potty after dinner so he HAD to too. lol I picked him up set him on the potty took him off right away and said ok lets go outside. He was happy with that thank goodness. So he wants to do EVERYTHING his big bro is doing these days. I'm thinking on the potty training front that might be a good thing when the time comes.

Have to share this...Coley says, "I love" now. Not I love you, but "I love" it melts my heart when he says it. Too cute I tell ya. Can you see that my baby has lost his baby face and now is looking like a little boy? Whaaaaaa!

Called the doctor, wasn't in, got medicine, and I'll see him Wednesday. Still feel like YUCK!
