Chloe Ruth Johnson is here!
Chloe Ruth Johnson
July 29, 09
1:52 p.m.
19.5 inches
7 lbs 5 ounces
She's a cutie an resembles her biggest brother! She has the lungs of her big brother along with his appetite. She's got Daddy's toes and has very adorable heart birthmark on her forehead. Pictures will have to wait until we get home tomorrow.
On another note, Bill will close on the "old" house this afternoon and we'll close on the new one tomorrow afternoon. Not sure that I'll be able make it though. Depends on if they make me stay the full 48 hours.
Thanks everyone for your prayers yesterday! They were most definitely felt and brought me peace up until the spinal. It was then that I lost it. I don't think I settled down though until they brought Bill in the OR. Oh how I love him so! So again thank you for all the prayers!

Where do I start?
Since my last post on July 4, our life can be pretty much summed up with one word CHAOTIC! We started moving into the new house July 13 and spent our first night here on the 16th. Luckily for us my mom and Michael were her for that week! They were such a help. Michael and I loaded up the van and Mom's Jeep and made 5 trips over the first day. Lots more trips made over the next 5 days. We got a majority of the "little stuff" moved ourselves while mom kept watch over the boys and Bill worked. Then that Saturday, dad and Bill's parents came and helped out some more with the bigger things. The boys stayed with Grammy and Papa at the hotel that night and ended up going home with them for 3.5 days! P was homesick Tuesday night so they came home Wednesday. It was weird not having my boys here, but I survived and made the most of it by painting the half bath and dining room. I've also painted the kitchen since they've been home. Trying to get things done and make our house a "home" before our little princess arrives. You would think she would have arrived with all the moving I did, but NOPE. She has her own agenda and apparently wants her "castle" to be homey and ready for her! We're settled as much as we can be without a shed. Although, we can park one car in the garage. So it's coming along and feels like home already to all of us. The only thing I miss of the old house is the yard...there was no mud/dirt and we had a fence...it was pretty. The new house we have grass in the front and sides but the back was just seeded which equals weeds and just dirt. Fun stuff with 2 boys that are like magnets to it. They have had a bath almost twice a day since we started staying here. I already have ring around the tub. Doesn't help that we have an empty lot that is almost half dirt right next to us either. So I just need to get over it, but I really don't want all that dirt in my house and all those tiny dirt prints on my walls. With time, it will be pretty and there will be no more dirt...hopefully soon!
This week is very busy and chaotic as well! Chloe will be coming Wednesday by c-section regardless of whether she is ready or not! We report at 11 with sx scheduled for 1. I have carried this little princess longer than her brothers and she's been teasing me for the last week and a half with contractions. Thursday we are supposed to be closing on the other house, but now we may not be. I won't be there so we need to do power of attorney stuff which we still haven't received the paper work to get signed and notarized. We were going to try and close on the new house Friday, but if the other doesn't close we can't do the new. So yeah that is our CHAOTIC life right now. Stressing me about the house stuff. The having a baby not so much. I'm looking forward to 2-3 days of relaxing FINALLY and meeting our baby girl!
Also, registered Parker for kindergarten last week! Not so fun for Mom! We did buy some school supplies this evening at Target and he was anything but thrilled with the whole process. Mom, why do I need 3 things of glue? Not sure, but that is what it says you need. What is that box for? and so on and so forth...gotta love him.

God is so very GOOD....SOLD!!!
We did it in less than 24 hours of being listed on the MLS! We sold our house! We got a phone call this morning about 11:15 for a showing! We scrambled and actually were chased out the door because they got there early. As they came in the front we left out the garage. We went to the new house and let the boys test drive their bikes on the sidewalks and *gasp* the street! They love to go down the hill and giggle with laughter doing it, but coming up they sound like grumpy old men. LOL They'll get used to it. The best thing is there was ONE car that passed during the hour or so we were hanging out there. So AWESOME! And QUIET! We will cherish the quietness daily. No more loud semi's zooming by going 70 or motorcycles for that matter! Oh whatever will we do with all the quietness?
So we close on our "old" house on the 30th. Don't know yet on the new as we haven't discussed it! Although, we'll be moving in ASAP as soon as all the finacial paperwork stuff is good/started and the inspection is done! So hopefully, next weekend! And hopefully Miss Chloe will make her debut the weekend after?!

Changes!!
So this week we've been busy...super busy to be exact! We decide to take the plunge and put our house on the market. We've found "the one" to buy and think it will suit us just perfectly! The only thing we've both been dreading is selling our house. We don't like to do stuff we aren't familiar with and selling a house is one of them. Well you can't buy if you don't sell right? Well we can't! lol So we found the perfect realtor for us last Sunday as we attended an open house. She's super friendly and one of those you feel like you've known for years. We've seen her 4 times this week and today the signs went in the yard. We've already got an open house scheduled for Sunday, the 12th and hope by then to (crossing my fingers) have an offer. We'll see right?! Yes, call us crazy for listing our house just weeks before expecting Chloe but we did. I feel that this is the right thing for us and even so at this time. I'm at total peace with the whole thing. After looking and being in prayer for as long as we have the Lord is leading us and his time happens to be now. Not probably how I would have done it but we are trusting in Him!
So now we have become even more anal about keeping our house clean. Yes, some of you are probably wondering how we can do that more! lol Anyway, we'll survive and the boys will get the hang of it sooner or later, right? lol The joke is probably on us! They've been very helpful this week with getting things ready. We've stained the swing set, painted the porch, put down more mulch, hauled off most of the wood pile in the back, and fixed little things throughout the house. I'm so glad Bill is a handy man. He's been working so hard and is just exhausted at the end of the day, but the house looks good! Thanks honey for all your hardwork! We appreciate it!
