Well today didn't start off as expected. We woke up with no power and it didn't come back on until 11. So at about 8 we had had enough of the cold and got dressed and went to Walmart. It was frigid in our house. The fireplace didn't help at all either. So no power meant no COFFEE for me this morning. That's tough and the reason I had a horrible headache today. So I had to take a pic of what gets me going in the mornings and keeps me that way throughout the day. Loving my coffee cup...my favorite and also Cinnabon coffee....that stuff ROCKS! Also spent last night and this afternoon making baby blankets for a co-worker of Bill's. They had a girl and well couldn't pass up working with PINK so I made a couple blankets for her. My mom came this evening to visit for a couple days and we also had some friends over for dinner. It was a little crazy with 2 two year olds but we all had a blast. I wish we could do it more often but they are moving in 2 weeks. I'm so happy for them but don't want them to leave at the same time because Parker and I have both formed GREAT friendships. They are wonderful and will be greatly missed that's for sure.

Anyway, enough rambling I'm out! :)

Since I didn't get my camera out until this evening...heres my photo for today. These are on the wall going up the stairs to our bonus room. It's kind of fitting because I have been working on updating pictures around the house. I finally have some Cole pictures up. Only took me 3 months. Oh can you believe Cole is 3 months today. It's truly amazing how time flies by. I thought it went fast with one child but with 2 it's gone before you even knew it was here.

Off to make some dinner for Pman and myself. Then maybe we'll play with playdough or do some stamping.

A little tummy time for today.

I was in total peace and quiet this afternoon for 2 whole hours. Both boys took naps in their beds and I had time to myself. And they have also been going to bed by 8:30 the past couple nights. So weird not to have Cole up, but I totally love it. I hope he keeps up the good sleeping too. Almost a week now of good sleep! Mommy is sooooo much HAPPIER! :)

Potty training is going great! Just gotta work on the #2 in the potty.

We were playing around with their cowboy hats today. Parker didn't want to have his picture taken at all until after I put the camera away of course. He's been in a mood today. Anyway, off to eat some chili on this cold blustery evening.

I'm a little embarrassed to post the BEFORE picture but you really and truly don't get the FULL effect without it. This is how we (mainly Bill) spent our Saturday...cleaning/organizing our closet. It was horrible before and very hard to keep it organized. So $250 later we have a nicely organized closet...gotta love Lowe's. And yes for the record those are ALL the shoes I own and my hubby has way more clothes than I do. LOL!

Anyway, can't wait to get dressed tomorrow...I'll be able to see my clothes.

Oh and Cole is FINALLY sleeping 5 hours at a time...going 6-7 hours between feedings at night, well the first stretch anyway. I'm loving it!

We went with the MOMS Club to Fundom Kids www.fundomkids.blogspot.com ....one word AWESOME! The kids had a blast. They played for 2 hours then we went to McDonald's for lunch. Parker was worn out and fell asleep on the way home. It was a good time and a perfect way to start the day.

We were out and about this morning and decided to take my camera. Parker was telling me that he didn't want his picture taken.

Pman in his little letterman jacket that Gramma Patty got him. He loves it and wouldn't take it off.
Had to get a pic of Cole this morning all bundled up in his PINK swaddle me. LOL I gotta scrap this one.
Such a happy boy these days...I never tire of these smiles.

This is what I have been doing lately while the boys are napping or Bill is home...scrapping! These are a few of the more simple ones I've done. I can never pick a favorite! I finally took pics today and uploaded a few to Scrapjazz. I didn't want to overload the gallery with my stuff, so I'll upload some tomorrow too. :)

Didn't take any pics of the boys today. We went to playgroup this morning, came home and took naps. Hopefully I'll get back into that groove tomorrow. I needed a break from editing just for one day. LOL

Parker was watching the Backyardigans this morning and had to get his cowboy hat! He loves Tyrone and had to wear his hat too.

Me and my boys...our Sunday ritual now (a photo of the 3 of us!)

Me and the boys playing this afternoon. Awesome...when I can make both boys laugh/smile at the same time!

This one is from last night but I had to share. Parker wanted his doll stroller out and well instead of putting his doll in it I put "baby Cole!" He was having a blast strolling him around the house. Don't worry Bill and I were close by at all times.

Took a few of Coleman today...he was happy just laying on the floor! Love this one!

My scrapping loot I got today...can't wait to play! I was trying to do 100 layouts using my stash but well didn't work. I have however, done 18 layouts so far this year so I deserved it....right?!

What a bowler...after he would roll the ball he would jump up and down hands in the air and say "woohoo!"

We went bowling today with the MOMS Club! It was fun...I guess! Cole was fussy/not feeling well and Parker was a pistol but had a good time. I was running around with my head cut off...Cole screaming bloody murder and chasing Parker around the bowling alley. He was going out of turn and also throwing his ball in closed lanes. It was fun let me tell ya. Oh and trying to take pictures and video tape it too for Daddy.

This afternoon is much better now that we have all had NAPS. Parker woke up and here is our conversation:

Parker: Mama do I have undies on?

Me: No

Parker: Okay...as he starts grunting

Me: Are you pooping?

Parker: Yeah

about a minute later

Parker: Mama I'm finished!

Little stinker (literally!) I didn't feel like jumping up and dragging him down to the potty. Oh the adventues of potty training. Seems like Thursdays are "bad days" for Parker's attitude and potty training. The past 2 Thursdays he's been a bear and has accidents galore. So we decided we are skipping from Wednesdays right to Fridays at our house. LOL! If it was only that easy.

I tried to get some pics of Cole in his cowboy outfit today. He was already tuckered out by that time and of course big brother had to get his hat and join in. He such a sweet and loving big brother!

I also tried to get naked Cole pics and get a few of his rolls...that didn't work out so well. I did get a few like this one...love it!

Coley says HELLO! I just love this little guy...staying awake more and he's finally a happy baby. At night we wrap him in his swaddle me blanket to sleep...really the only way he will sleep for a long period of time unless he's being held. Anyway, I noticed that it's too small. So today I went out looking for the LARGE blanket. Only smalls at Toys R Us so I went to Once Upon A Child. They sell new stuff at ours too. Well the only color they had in a large was PINK! And yep, I bought it...boys can wear pink right...that's in! I bring it home and well Daddy isn't too pleased with the color but ya know I don't feel like being up every hour or 2 with him. So I'm thinking now that I may have to take a pic of him in it and scrap it. LOL He'll love that in about 15 years right?!

On the potty training front...going great! No accidents again to day and another poopy in the toilet. And here everyone has been telling me boys don't train until 3 and they are harder than girls. I guess there's an exception to every rule. :0)

Can you believe this munchkin is already 11 weeks today?! I put his little hat on as we were headed out the door this evening and had to take a pic. He looks so snuggly and warm.

Our first activity of the day coloring. Parker loves to color and prefers markers over crayons. Today was another awesome day with potty training. No accidents and he went poopy on the toilet tonight. That was only after spending half the day on the toilet because he kept saying he had to go and then would freak out once he was on it, but we are so happy he has picked up on the whole thing rather quickly. Yay Parker!

Well it's now 11:11 p.m. and both boys are STILL awake. It's going to be a LONG night!

I have to give credit to my husband for the first 3 pictures today. This first one I just LOVE! He rocked this one...it just speaks to me! I think I might have to get this blown up and put it somewhere in the house.

And I hope to every Sunday hand the camera over to Bill and get a picture of me and the boys. Thanks Sarah and Amy for the inspiration to do this.

Can you say HUGE?! Well we took Parker to Toys R Us today to get a train...he wanted Bill and Ben. Well this is what we came home with. And no it wasn't me who caved it was Daddy! The price was right...it was on clearance 40% off. We figured we could only get 3 of the little trains for what this cost and it came with 161 pieces. It is totally cool and yep we were all having a good time this afternoon with Thomas. Fun times!

Potty training today was good...only 1 accident this afternoon. He went potty several times while we were out today. Totally awesome! He got some new Lightening McQueen and Mater undies today too. He's too cool and still after 5 days wants me to do the "happy, happy, happy" dance!

Off to watch a movie...hopefully we don't fall asleep!

Having a little pillow fight this morning...Parker had a BLAST! He kept saying "fight some more Momma!"

Cole hanging out with Daddy during (mine and Parker's) pillow fight. He's getting sooooo BIG!

Ahhh...love these little moments. Parker LOVES to shave and did it all by himself today. He gets so serious too. He even rinses the razor after each shave!

Little Coleman being happy this morning while we were making breakfast. Love that smile...just melts my heart!

We got a our web cam hooked up today and let's just say it's pretty COOL! We all got a pretty good chuckle out of it when we could see my brother. Now we just have to get speakers so we can hear...then we'll be able to talk/see Gramma Patty! Although Parker thinks people can see him through the phone...he's always showing Gramma his trains! Can't wait to actually have a video call...gonna be so cool.

Parker did FABULOUS with potty training today. Not one accident and he we even went out without a diaper on. And get this he went POOPY in the toilet tonight. WOOOOHOOOO! So tomorrow we are going to Toys R Us to get a new train or tracks or whatever he picks out. That is his reward for going poopy in the toilet. So this potty training stuff is going good...only one really bad day so far.

Ok so this photo a day blog has kind of turned into a regular old blog too...sorry! I don't have the time to set up a whole different one and keep up with both...hope you SJ ladies don't mind!
