How to make your Mommy cry at the dinner table. by Parker

Thank you God for the food we eat.
Thank you God for the birds that sing.
Thank you God for my Mommy and Daddy.
Thank you God for everything.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Our snow day!

Our first snow this winter and the boys loved it. They actually wanted to play outside all day, but it was way to cold (for Mom anyway). In fact, they didn't want to come in. They managed to ride bike, jump on the snow covered trampoline, and mow. We didn't get much, just 1 1/2 inches but it sure did bring joy to these little boys' day. P didn't think he could use his hands even though he had gloves on for the longest time. It was funny.

Circus!

After seeing a commercial last weekend for the circus I knew I wanted to take the boys. After seeing the boys reaction to seeing the same commercial on Wednesday I knew we were going for sure. So Thursday Daddy bought our tickets for this mornings show. It was so much fun. The boys took a few minutes to warm up to it. Both started crying and saying they wanted to go because of the noise and some little fireworks. They hung in there and were all eyes after about 5 minutes. Their favorites were the motorcycles, elephants, and the horses. My favorite had to be the nachos and soda Daddy got us during intermission. Yummo! I'm always hungry just in case you didn't know. And nachos, I could eat them everyday and twice on Sunday! lol

We had pretty good seats and were 7 rows up from the floor. We were on the end but it was perfect.

They fit 7 motocross motorcycles in this little cage ball. It was amazing.

Our family photo that Parker never wants to participate in. Thank you to the nice
strangers who offered to take this of all us. I was turning 10 shades of red because of
P's little fit he was going on about having his pic taken.

We did manage to walk out of there without any souvenirs...even the motorcycle one. And I'm
proud to say no fits were thrown over not getting one either. Woohoo!

Randomness!

This is what we've been playing with for the last week...Geo Trax! It's about to come down so we can move on to something else. Vacuuming the play room needs to be done. The boys love it though. I'm tired of hearing this one needs new batteries though. Since Christmas we have changed so many batteries that Parker knows what size is what and which toys take which sizes. Geesh, but they had fun with it.

This week we are working on two things with our Coley monster. First, keeping the binky for nap and bedtime only. It's a battle but was much better about it today. Second, we've been potty training. We stayed home today so I figured why not we have ALL day. He did good with peeing on the potty. That was followed up with chocolate which he LOVES. #2 didn't go over so well with 3 accidents in the undies today. We'll keep chugging along though. He's recently not wanted to wear diapers all on his own. So heres to another session of potty training. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long.

Cole has tubes!

So today was the day we've been waiting for. Cole had tubes put in today. He was very brave and didn't cry or even look back at us when the nurses took him. They said he didn't even fight the mask...awesome! The doc also said that both ears were still badly infected too...after 3 rounds of antibiotics since November 18. After surgery we took both boys to Cracker Barrel where the both devoured their pancakes...Mom and Dad did too. So yummy! Cole was his regular talkative self right away. You'd never know he was under anesthesia this morning. Heres to an end to the rounds and rounds of expensive antibiotics that have NOT helped my child's ears. Yesterday I had my 2nd ob appt. Didn't get to hear the heartbeat because he/she was hiding out. So instead I got an ultrasound. He/she even did a little dance for me! Yay!
