Photoshoot!

I bought the boys their Easter shirt and ties the other day and HAD to take pictures of them wearing them. Parker wasn't happy about pictures and threw a royal fit for about 20 minutes before hand so that is why his pic is in b/w...to get rid of the red blotchy face. You would think the kid had a camera in his face all the time or something! lol Anyway, I gotta say they have got to be the cutest little Parker and Cole on the planet.

Our birthday celebration!

Parker told me earlier in the week when I said it was Papa's and Steph's birthday this week that we needed to make a cake and have a party. (We should have done that last week when we were there, but anyway who was thinking! Not me.) So this evening we made a microwave chocolate cake that is SUPER YUMMY and Parker and Cole decorated the cake with the candles. The 30's are for Stephanie and the rest for Papa. P however, was very disappointed when he waited for like 10 minutes at the front door and finally turned around and said, "Mama they are not coming!" I said, "Who honey?" P, "Aunt Stephanie and Papa Bill. They have to come for their birthday party!" Poor thing thinks when it's someones birthday they need to come to our house for their party...he did this on Papa Paul's birthday in January also. So after a few minutes and lots of tear he was ready to decorate the cake with candles. And finally, the BIRTHDAY CAKE! They even donned party hats. P did say something was missing...decorations! Sorry guys you don't mind do you?

Baby girl Hadley arrived today at 4:36 p.m. eastern time
weighs 7 lbs 7 oz and is 19 inches long...the smallest Hadley yet! ;)

Bill surprised us and came home Thursday night. I knew he was headed this way when he called after his class at 3. I was giddy with excitement and could hardly stand it when he called at 9 to talk. He then asked if I would like some company. lol I knew he was on his way home and I expected him home about 11-11:30 and at 11:30 he pulled into the driveway. I don't think I have ever hugged him and kissed him so much in our 7 1/2 years of being together. We spent the weekend just chillin at home with the boys. My sister also came to visit on Friday afternoon. She's still here and we are enjoying her company.

This morning the phone rang at ten til seven and it was Bill. I immediately knew something was wrong. Turns out his truck was broken into and his TOMTOM was stolen. Nothing else was taken and his golf clubs were even inside the cab. So needless to say, his day has not started out
very well at all. The window is getting fixed this afternoon. Totally stinks because we have a $250 ded and if the window costs more the ins. will take care of the rest and the ins. is giving us 250 for the TOMTOM which doesn't cover what it cost...so basically we are still out the TOMTOM and then some. Grrr why do people have to be so ignorant. So I'm turning this into a BITE ME post to those IGNORANT morons in this world that think it's ok to STEAL from others. Get off your hiney (putting it nicely) and get a REAL job and pay for your stuff like everyone else. This came to mind as I was typing this

We're home and rested!

We got home yesterday afternoon after an uneventful trip home. Yay! We all were sad to leave Grammy and Papa's but ready to come home all the same. I'm sure Cole and I were the happiest because last night he actually slept from 7-4:30. I rocked him for 5 minutes put him back and bed and well he proceeded to screaming for the next 30 minutes or so....not too sure as I think I fell back asleep before he quit. He woke up at 7:50 this morning. P slept in his own bed the whole night and slept til 6:50.

So here are a couple photos from Dana's maternity photoshoot on Monday. Ughh the weather was so dreary that day. The first one goes to show that kids don't need their hair combed, faces washed, or even have pants on (Christian) to get photos taken. This was just practicing but I'm so glad I decided to take a pic of all of them with their mama. I just wish I would have gotten Christian up a little closer and not out of focus a bit. Oh well I still like it! And one of Dana by herself...29 weeks along!

In Illinois

We decided to leave a day earlier...it was getting old at home. So we left Thursday evening. The boys have been enjoying Grammy and Papa and I have enjoyed time WITHOUT them. Geesh they haven't been horrible but really it's nice to get a little break. It was 80 degrees yesterday here and now today we are supposed to get some snow. I don't think they really know how much anywhere from 3-10 inches I've heard on different stations. So we may be back Wednesday or we may not. What's the hurry right! Cole has not adjusted well at all to our trip. He's waking up at night A LOT and this morning slept til 4 and wouldn't settle back down so we finally got out of bed at about 6:30 because I had had enough of my hair being pulled and him hitting my face. So now he's going on a 2 hour nap...which is a GOOD thing. Gotta runs some errands today and then to Dana's to take maternity photos of her. Hopefully there will be enough light on this dreary day to get some decent photos.

I won't be posting photos until I get home unless I get reallyl bored tomorrow while being snow bound to the house.
