Chicos and chica

This little girl is a dream baby. She is an awesome sleeper and has been sleeping through the night...at 6 weeks! Yes, my friends that is a dream baby for me! Parker never slept through the night and Cole it was 6-7 months. I'm thrilled to get 6.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Keep it up baby girl!
Starting to smile and coo.
The boys in there new fire gear. Found these costumes super cheap at a local store. They run 50+ in catalogs and I got both for $16....I was pleased! They have the red suspenders and even a thumb hole in the cuffs just like Daddy's. Parker has daddy time him how long it takes him to get his gear on. It's so cute.

Just to keep it real...I've been suffering from PPD. Last week I got some meds. It's been a tough few weeks, but I'm taking it day by day. The days are getting better. So I've been really disconnected lately and not talkative. It's nothing anyone did and I'm not mad at anyone...been asked that quite a bit lately. It's just me and this funk. So hopefully the meds will continue to work and I won't be such a nutcase anymore. My family would appreciate that mucho! If you could keep me in your prayers I would be most grateful! ;)

6 weeks of pure joy!

I can hardly believe our little girl is 6 weeks today! She's been nothing but pure joy...really! I cannot help but just staring at her and just running my fingers along her feet or down her little legs. I then think back to last year at this time when we had longed for another baby to hold and love on. We had a few disappointments, but in His time we were pregnant. His gift to us of this little girl is just a miracle. To think of how a life starts and then 9 months later a beautiful baby is born. I'm in awe of the whole process. Life is such a precious gift from our heavenly father and I cannot thank Him enough for the three little blessings he's bestowed upon us. So I sit and hold my little girl longer and tighter for I know these moments go by much too fast.

A little of this and that!

Our little princess is 5 weeks old this past week! Seems impossible really! She's such a joy and is still a really good sleeper. Now if only I could follow suit.
Since Cole and I get to hang out a lot more since P is in school he taken to doing what Mommy does. He loves to help with Chloe and wants to hold her all the time.
Drinking coffee like Mommy does every morning!
Playing with his "baby Chloe!" I found this high chair at the flea market and gave it a little tlc and it's good as new. Cole loves it. However, I intended it for Chloe eventually! He feeds, burps, and takes his baby to both the bus stop and to the hospital. He is great pretender. He's going to be a GREAT daddy someday!
Monday was Daddy's 33rd birthday. I wanted to make it a little more special so I decided to buy a small helium tank, balloons, and a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake for a little surprise birthday party when he got home from work. With 10 minutes to spare it came together. Thankfully,
my creative juices were flowing that day otherwise it would have been "just another day" and I totally didn't want that.
Luckily I put up the artwork line the day before. It doubled as a birthday banner with
a little cardstock and black paint. And it's reuseable....SAAWEEET!

The not so sweet part of our week was Wednesday! Parker had to switch teachers because they had too many students and made another kinder. class. It didn't start well when later that evening he mentioned he wet his pants at school because the teacher didn't call on him. Well he didn't change clothes either. Thursday we brought him to school and talked to his teacher. It was a misunderstanding on P's part that he can go whenever he wants he doesn't have to be called on. Just has to cross his fingers when he raises his hand. Good, right? Nope, Thursday he came home in his change of clothes. This time in music class, raised his hand and the teacher told him it wasn't bathroom break time. So he wet. NICE! I was not happy! Wrote a note to the teacher in his "study buddy" aka notebook that goes everyday from home/school. Well the teacher didn't acknowledge my note at all. That my friends is even NICER! So I already didn't have that warm fuzzy feeling about her after I met her on Thursday morning and now she's gonna do this. Hmm, there is just something that I'm not comfortable with as a mother. Not sure exactly what it is but that is my gut feeling. We are going to give it another week and re-evaluate the situation and see if we need to see the principal. Hopefully, this is just the adjustment phase and we'll get through this and everything will go smoothly.

Parkerman is 5 today!

Our biggest boy is 5 today! Can you believe it? We cannot believe it ourselves! It was only 5 short years ago that we were given new names of Mommy and Daddy! I'll never forget that day as it changed our lives for the better! We were blessed with an affectionate, loving, caring, smart, and silly young man. We can only hope that in the next 5 years he'll continue to grow in his pleasant ways. ;)

Todays agenda was left up to him. Last night he planned it all out...park, fire station, McDonald's, and Toys R Us. This morning when he woke up it hadn't changed. Since our friends were still here we decided to hit the park first followed by lunch at McDonald's. We played on the playground, went for a hike, and went creek stompin or wading for them. They were up to their waists in water. It was chilly but they had a blast. After Micky D's our friends headed back to IL and we headed home for a much needed nap for our middle child. Our day didn't start out great at ALL! After C's nap Daddy took the boys with him for a bit. When they got home we headed to the Toys R Us where P got to pick out a toy from us. ( We did it a bit different this year. We let him pick whatever he wanted to out. He has been wanting a new remote control car for a while now so that is what he got...a BIG one. Then we headed next door to end the day with a little Chuck E. Cheese. Again, they had a blast and ate pizza like it was going out of style. Then we came home and had some cake. He got to bed a lot later than usual so I imagine he'll be a little sleepy at school tomorrow, but you only turn 5 once right?! So I hope we made the most of his birthday this year. He did mention that we didn't have a big party, but I don't think he really minded because we've had 3 parties already with family. He's received presents and not too many...PERFECT if you ask me.

And what better way to start off his 6 year of life than heading to school all day, everyday! Fun stuff!

We love you to the moon and back P!

A few from today!

Just a few from today! I've taken way too many pictures this last week. I need to get busy and edit some so I can share. Grandma Patty, Uncle Steffen, and Uncle Michael came to visit last week so we have some with them. Then this weekend we went to the lake with Grammy Sue, Papa Bill, the Hadley's, and the Smith's. It was a quick visit, but we had a great time. The boys road jet skis and a boat. They also swam in the KY lake. YUCK! Chloe and I hung out in the condo and then did a little shopping. I forsee the boys doing there thing and us girls doing our thing in the future too. :)

Parker enjoyed his first day of kindergarten. We sent him on his way on the bus. It was way hard on me...I bawled like a baby! He did just fine though. He said the bus was fun, but really noisy. It was really quite around the house with him gone all day. I'm not sure how easily I'll handle it next week when he starts going everyday...or Cole for that matter.
