Just to keep it real...I've been suffering from PPD. Last week I got some meds. It's been a tough few weeks, but I'm taking it day by day. The days are getting better. So I've been really disconnected lately and not talkative. It's nothing anyone did and I'm not mad at anyone...been asked that quite a bit lately. It's just me and this funk. So hopefully the meds will continue to work and I won't be such a nutcase anymore. My family would appreciate that mucho! If you could keep me in your prayers I would be most grateful! ;)

A little of this and that!
my creative juices were flowing that day otherwise it would have been "just another day" and I totally didn't want that.
a little cardstock and black paint. And it's reuseable....SAAWEEET!
The not so sweet part of our week was Wednesday! Parker had to switch teachers because they had too many students and made another kinder. class. It didn't start well when later that evening he mentioned he wet his pants at school because the teacher didn't call on him. Well he didn't change clothes either. Thursday we brought him to school and talked to his teacher. It was a misunderstanding on P's part that he can go whenever he wants he doesn't have to be called on. Just has to cross his fingers when he raises his hand. Good, right? Nope, Thursday he came home in his change of clothes. This time in music class, raised his hand and the teacher told him it wasn't bathroom break time. So he wet. NICE! I was not happy! Wrote a note to the teacher in his "study buddy" aka notebook that goes everyday from home/school. Well the teacher didn't acknowledge my note at all. That my friends is even NICER! So I already didn't have that warm fuzzy feeling about her after I met her on Thursday morning and now she's gonna do this. Hmm, there is just something that I'm not comfortable with as a mother. Not sure exactly what it is but that is my gut feeling. We are going to give it another week and re-evaluate the situation and see if we need to see the principal. Hopefully, this is just the adjustment phase and we'll get through this and everything will go smoothly.

Parkerman is 5 today!
Todays agenda was left up to him. Last night he planned it all out...park, fire station, McDonald's, and Toys R Us. This morning when he woke up it hadn't changed. Since our friends were still here we decided to hit the park first followed by lunch at McDonald's. We played on the playground, went for a hike, and went creek stompin or wading for them. They were up to their waists in water. It was chilly but they had a blast. After Micky D's our friends headed back to IL and we headed home for a much needed nap for our middle child. Our day didn't start out great at ALL! After C's nap Daddy took the boys with him for a bit. When they got home we headed to the Toys R Us where P got to pick out a toy from us. ( We did it a bit different this year. We let him pick whatever he wanted to out. He has been wanting a new remote control car for a while now so that is what he got...a BIG one. Then we headed next door to end the day with a little Chuck E. Cheese. Again, they had a blast and ate pizza like it was going out of style. Then we came home and had some cake. He got to bed a lot later than usual so I imagine he'll be a little sleepy at school tomorrow, but you only turn 5 once right?! So I hope we made the most of his birthday this year. He did mention that we didn't have a big party, but I don't think he really minded because we've had 3 parties already with family. He's received presents and not too many...PERFECT if you ask me.
And what better way to start off his 6 year of life than heading to school all day, everyday! Fun stuff!
We love you to the moon and back P!

A few from today!
Parker enjoyed his first day of kindergarten. We sent him on his way on the bus. It was way hard on me...I bawled like a baby! He did just fine though. He said the bus was fun, but really noisy. It was really quite around the house with him gone all day. I'm not sure how easily I'll handle it next week when he starts going everyday...or Cole for that matter.
