I give up!

When I say I need a break, I NEED A BREAK! I can't even go run a few errands by MYSELF. I've been dealing with whiny, screaming kids for 3 days and I can't even run to the store kidless. How much is it to ask really? Last night Cole's crying continued through the night. Yep, a mom who's about to go crazy because of a whiney/fussy child and lack of sleep because of this equals a mom who is about to break. I have seriously had about enough of EVERYTHING.

That's it. That's my vent for today. It really didn't help but oh well.

I need a break!!

Whew...the last couple days have been just CRAZY with Cole. Always crying/fussing. And by crying I mean bawling, drama, and throwing himself on the floor. I really don't know what to do with him. We believe he's cutting some more teeth (the top 2 cut Friday night) and just really wish he could just tell us what was wrong. Geesh! Hes been driving me crazy but I'm hanging in there. Today he seems to want to watch tv and sit in my lap. He's NOT a tv watcher so I know he doesn't feel well. The silence only lasts about 3-4 minutes at a time, but I tell ya that is HEAVEN. So today we sit at home in our pjs and I'm not even tempted to leave my house...at least with my children. LOL I called Bill and told him I think a drink is on order for when the kids go to bed tonight. Is it 7 yet? :)

Went to the pumpkin patch today...took this of P! The more I look the more I want to just cry. Do you see why?

The horsey!

This HUGE horse has been just sitting and very rarely gets ridden. Poor thing. Well yesterday morning I put Coley on it and he LOVED it. In fact when I stopped bouncing him he would scrunch up his face and just start bawling. It was hilarious. Then when I took him off you would have thought he fell off the darn thing and hurt himself.

I had to show Bill when he came home from work and he snapped this pic. This was right before the scrunched up face and bawling because I stopped bouncing him. He's done the same thing today...I think he likes horsey. And he also didn't want to share with brother.

That's what Cole and I are doing with this CRUD! Yuck, between coughing now and runny noses it just needs to GO AWAY. I could barely sleep Friday night and was just MISERABLE Saturday morning when I woke up. Felt like I had been beat with a bat. Thank goodness for ibuprofen...works wonders.

Didn't do much this weekend. We did manage to go to a nursery and get ideas for bushes/trees to plant. Hopefully this month we will actually get to actually purchasing/planting/finishing our beds and yard. Maybe just maybe.

Yesterday we took on the HUGE project of cleaning out the ATTIC. Yeah it was a mess and now the mess has moved to the garage. We're having a yard sale Saturday to get rid of all the junk. I'm in the mood to toss/get rid of. Bill LOVES this mood and told me that yesterday. LOL Although he did say " oh lets hang on to that" a few times...I was thinking, yeah we have been for almost 5 years now and it's been "hanging" in the attic the whole time. It was good to declutter and purge.

Today we went to Fundom Kids with Moms Club. The boys had a blast as I wore them out with shopping afterwards. Trying to find baskets for our entertainment center. And let me tell you I think baskets decide to disappear when I start looking for them. I can NEVER find baskets when I'm looking. NEVER! I end up just settling for something "that'll work!" Ugghhh. So I'm still searching.

Ok so we're getting by this week and looking forward to the cooler temps tomorrow. YAY!

The crud...

of somekind is what we have. Cole is miserable and so am I. It starts as a runny nose and then you just feel yucky. Now I have a sore throat from my sinuses draining like a faucet and my nose is raw, my body is a little achy too. When does it end. We move from one thing right on to another. I have a feeling this is how it will be for awhile with P in school and such. We did manage to go to the park today for a bit. It was HOT, but fun. Came home and we all napped. Cole woke up happy and we played upstairs. Here's mister "Hi look I can do tricks on my horsey!" I was trying to get a shot of his "bozo hair do" but you can't see it really well. I thought is was a good one anyway with that tongue.

So I was bored this afternoon and did a little shoot with the boys. I had only intended on getting pics of Cole but Parker (having just woke up from his nap) was in a good mood and felt inclined to join his little brother. So here they are. Didn't quite get the DOF that I had wanted on this one...I'll be trying this one again sometime. Although I would like it with the 4 of us! Just decided I don't like this in bw...too dark. Yucky!

So sweet! Not to often does P actually show affection to his lil bro anymore. They normally "head butt" each other when they get close these days. A new fav!
Love this one...he actually didn't EAT this leaf. He was crawling around the yard eating the leaves. Silly boy!
Of course both boys were in awe of the John Deere tractor that went by. Love this capture.
