BEAUTIFUL day today...spent the afternoon outside playing and took a walk. Cole ROLLED over TWICE this morning from his belly to his back. I was so happy and Parker was too. He gave Cole a hug and said, "I'm so proud of you Coley!" Now isn't that the sweetest thing ever.

Oh and the big thing in our house as of today...WE HAVE LONG DISTANCE ON OUR HOME PHONE NOW...unlimited too! Yep, it's the little things here that make us happy. So now we don't have to wait til after 8 to call or use more than our allowed minutes and get charged a BUTT load. So even though I dislike (to put it nicely) talking on the phone you may be getting calls from me now...just because! In fact, I've made 2 calls today...I know SHOCKING but only got voicemails. But hey that's a step out of my box.

Alright gotta make dinner and get kids to bed EARLY...no nap for Parker today and Cole hasn't napped well all day. Then maybe I'll make another bag...the one I didn't get around to last night.

Woke up this morning and saw these beautiful daffodils. I'm sure with tomorrows nice weather more will bloom. Beautiful. I love Spring.

And one of the floor thus far. Love it and it matches the walls perfectly...too bad I have to repaint. I'm gonna miss my stripes...and they were a PITA too. Oh well it's gonna be fun for the boys when we are done.

Off to make another bag and watch Idol.

Today was a GORGEOUS day so we took advantage of it...out ALL DAY! It didn't start off well once we got out. I decided to take the boys and Cinders for a walk. Well we almost got HIT by a car. Yep, run over, just about. An elderly gentleman that lives on the other end of our street nearly ran us over because he wasn't paying attention and was also SPEEDING! He was also hugging the curb and headed straight for us...I had to run the stroller up into someone's yard and SCREAM at him to slow down. I was terrified and ticked off at the same time. All I could think of once I started walking was "what if?" Scared me half to death and I had to turn around and come home. Needless to say Bill wasn't very happy and walked down to his house to see if anyone was home. Nope no one was home so I waited in the driveway til I saw him come back by. While waiting I also called and reported him to the police. So anyway, I see him and run out in the street so he HAS to stop. I was as nice as I could be holding back the tears and asked him to please obey the speed limit and pay more attention when he is driving. Bill said I handled myself very well. He also said he thinks I scared him. Oh well can you imagine what we would be going through right now if he hit us. So that was our drama for today. And get this Bill's friend came to pick up his ladder and while we were out talking the same man that almost hit us was driving by and almost clipped a neighbor's mailbox. HELLO old man you NEED to PAY ATTENTION when you drive. Geez, I'll definitely be adding him to my prayer list tonight.

Anyway, back to the photos. The 1st just melts my heart...look at Parker's hands. He so totally loves his brother and I pray that they always have such a close relationship. The 2nd, Parker and the way he was wearing his hat...silly kid! And last but not least, Coley chilling in his Bumbo seat outside...notice the tongue. I actually looked in his mouth today and he has a round white bump on his top gum. From doing research online, looks like it is a cyst which is normal apparently. I'll be asking the doc about it in 2 weeks though.

The tiling is coming along. Bill's still working on dry fitting it. Looks AWESOME...he did it diagonally. Can't wait for the end result. I love that man...so handy!

Off to make some dinner and then start the nightly routine.

Wow...2 posts in 1 day. I said I would post the bag I made last night so here it is. You can't see them really well but there are lime green polka dots on the ribbon. Love it so fun and bright. I bought some other fabric for another bag too. Not sure I'll get that one done tonight...I'm tired.

The boys playing on our bed...while I tried to find a place (besides our bed) for everything that was in their bathroom.

Made a trip to Lowe's and Home Depot to get everything for the bathroom. We came home with everything for the tile except the grout and a new light fixture. The only vanity we found was at HD and it is cinnamon color wood. It is the nicest without special ordering for the bathroom, but we aren't sure about it. We may just get a new sink top...most likely granite and new faucet too. Decisions, decisions.

Anywho, boys are in bed, I'm exhausted, and Bill is at a fire call. What to do? Sleep sounds good.

Ha it's only 10 a.m. and I already have pics for the day. When I slack I really slack...trying to make up for it. Anyway, more of the boys today! Parker loves to hold Cole ALL THE TIME and then says "Mama get your camera and take pictures!" Love that boy...he cracks me up as he says! The Parker pic is him throwing a fit when I took Cole away from him. He LOVES his brother! Then more smiles and belly laughs today from Cole.

Bill has taken apart the boys' bathroom already today. He's gonna put tile down...which is already leading to pretty much getting a new vanity, sink, mirror, and light fixture. Oh and we are repainting too. I bought the A to Z shower curtain, towels, and rug from Pottery Barn for their bathroom. I figured with 2 boys now, the Paris theme doesn't really suit them. So it's in shambles and hopefully won't be for long...this kind of thing DRIVES ME CRAZY! I don't like stuff to be out of place and cluttering up other parts of the house. But there is no turning back now.

Last night all 3 boys were in bed at 7:45 so I had "ME" time. I made a new bag...VERY CUTE I might add. I'll have to take pics and post 'em. Well I have Coley asleep in my arms and gotta got put him in his bed. Then I guess help Bill with the bathroom....FUN TIMES!

Sorry I've been slacking lately...I've been in a FUNK! A bad one too. So now I'm back and feeling good today. How can I not feel good with all the smiles I got from Cole today. He's just a talking like crazy today. So happy, LOVE IT...makes me HAPPY TOO!

Anyway, not too much has been going on. Oh except my day at the spa which was AWESOME! I think I could get used to going once a month..HA (wink)! It's been nice weather this week too which we were able to get outside to play and go on walks. I miss walks...a quiet time to just reflect. Love that. Hmm what else...Parker is crazy as ever, always making us laugh. Goes potty by himself now and tells us to "stay there!" That is whatever room we are in. The only problem with that is he comes out "nekkid" as he says. So then we have to chase him down to put his undies and pants back on.

Anywho off to make dinner!
