Changes!!

Took some pics of the boys this evening playing outside! The photo above make me SO HAPPY!
And of course trying on Daddy's fire gear!

"Mom, I gotta fire call!"

So this week we've been busy...super busy to be exact! We decide to take the plunge and put our house on the market. We've found "the one" to buy and think it will suit us just perfectly! The only thing we've both been dreading is selling our house. We don't like to do stuff we aren't familiar with and selling a house is one of them. Well you can't buy if you don't sell right? Well we can't! lol So we found the perfect realtor for us last Sunday as we attended an open house. She's super friendly and one of those you feel like you've known for years. We've seen her 4 times this week and today the signs went in the yard. We've already got an open house scheduled for Sunday, the 12th and hope by then to (crossing my fingers) have an offer. We'll see right?! Yes, call us crazy for listing our house just weeks before expecting Chloe but we did. I feel that this is the right thing for us and even so at this time. I'm at total peace with the whole thing. After looking and being in prayer for as long as we have the Lord is leading us and his time happens to be now. Not probably how I would have done it but we are trusting in Him!

So now we have become even more anal about keeping our house clean. Yes, some of you are probably wondering how we can do that more! lol Anyway, we'll survive and the boys will get the hang of it sooner or later, right? lol The joke is probably on us! They've been very helpful this week with getting things ready. We've stained the swing set, painted the porch, put down more mulch, hauled off most of the wood pile in the back, and fixed little things throughout the house. I'm so glad Bill is a handy man. He's been working so hard and is just exhausted at the end of the day, but the house looks good! Thanks honey for all your hardwork! We appreciate it!

Playing!

This one just makes my heart melt. They are such great buddies! When one is napping that is all the other does is ask where is Parker? or Cole sure is sleeping a long time, can I wake him up? I pray that in 15 years they will still be this close and won't even think twice about embracing one another like this.
33 weeks and 2 day preggo! This is not the shot I was going for, but I kind of like it. Those are baby booties on my belly, btw!

My happy little poser! He's a crack up and lately he's been calling us MOM and DAD! What at 2 1/2 we are already Mom and Dad! It's so funny to hear, "look Mom" or "hey Mom!"
This morning we set up the garage as the "studio" in preparation for my next 2 photo shoots tomorrow. One we rescheduled for early in the morning instead of at noon today because of the heat. It's HOT and so HUMID out! Hopefully, shooting at 8:30 tomorrow morning will be better. So while we had it set up I decided to "try" and get some pics of the boys and of course more belly pics. Cole is all into pics lately and P had to be coaxed greatly, but he always comes around especially when Coley is doing it. He cannot be left out. The boys actually cooperated as well and stood by each other too. I had to capture that for sure.

And for the record we are ALL healthy now! Cole's surgery went very well yesterday as well. Took him a little bit longer this time to overcome the anesthesia, but everything is great. By
yesterday afternoon he was all Coley again. You'd never know he'd been in surgery early in the morning. So now we are just waiting out Chloe's arrival. Hopefully, we'll be sneaking in some summer activities in the next few weeks as well as a couple parties this weekend.

Chloe's room

Dresser is filled with clothes and diapers...just waiting for a baby girl!
Cole picked this baby doll out for Chloe yesterday while at HomeGoods...we had to get it!
Looks a little bare on this side. I have a metal bird branch hook thing that I need to hang on the wall to the left of the crib. I'll be hanging some old baby clothes from it. Then above the crib I'm going to put pictures of Miss Chloe. I'm thinking 3 square photos mounted on styrene and hung by ribbon...we shall see.
A closer look at the bedding...LOVE it! And this is our new crib...the other was recalled. I actually like it much better than the other one too.
The cowboy picture won't be staying and will be filled with one of her eventually.
These are not the greatest pics at all, but anyway this is her room! Just waiting for her arrival!

Such a cutie!

Singing a VBS song..."roll the Gospel chariot along, roll the Gospel chariot along"
Does he look like someone in this photo.....DADDY?! Lit bit huh!

Loves to play baseball and unlike most kids he'll actually throw all the balls back using one heck of an arm to do it!
He knows how to work those eyes! Don't let them fool you.

Well Coley monster is getting his second set of tubes on Wednesday morning! His ears are NOT infection free after a round of antibiotics, but they are better! Although, his left tube is out it has fallen the wrong way and went IN to his middle ear. He's the 3rd child in the docs 15 year career that this has happened to. So he'll need to cut his ear drum and try and retrieve it first before the tube can be put in. Hopefully, all goes well with that.

He's getting over the hand, mouth, and foot disease rather quickly! Has blisters left on his feet to heal and he'll be good. He only got one sore in his mouth, but it didn't affect him in anyway really!

Parker on the other hand has it bad. Sores all over his tongue and mouth! No spots or blisters on his hand or feet! He been sticking to Danimals and milk. He'll occasionally eat a waffle, but he has to be REALLY hungry. The sores are going away though with only the few large ones left. Hopefully, after this weekend they'll both be over it all together.

Busy!

It's been a bit busy around the Johnson house lately! We've been preparing for Chloe's arrival and just about have her room done. A couple final touches and it'll be done. It went quick, thankfully, and all of us just can't help stepping inside her room when we pass it. It's so nice to have a bright, airy, girly room in the house. A breath of fresh air for sure! I'll post pics at then end of the week!

Last week we had our first week of VBS at the church the boys went to school at. They LOVED it and I actually enjoyed it too. P was the only one to attend because of age, but Cole, myself, and sometimes Daddy got to enjoy the singing and puppet shows everyday at opening and closing. It was very nice. We've all since been singing all the new songs we learned.

Aunt Jennie came to visit Wednesday-Sunday and the boys LOVED having her here. I did too that is how I got the room together so quickly. She didn't hesitate to take them out to play, clean up the kitchen, or even give them baths. It was SUPER! I wish she could have stayed longer...the extra help was so WONDERFUL! Thanks Aunt Jennie for a GREAT visit! The boys miss you lots already.

I'm finishing up on photo shoots now with only about 1-3 left possibly. I about died running around the other day but I think I got some good shots. Bill actually took the ones above of me as well. LOVE the first one. I'm thinking he's going to be my competition! lol

This week is another VBS for P...gotta keep that boy busy! I'm not too fond of getting out of the house again by 8:20 a.m. everyday but after this week we'll be able to sleep in again. He was a little hesitant to be left today but after seeing trains he didn't look back. He had a great day, but did ask why it was so much longer than the other bible school. It's only 45 minutes longer. lol

Yesterday, my FABULOUS friends threw Chloe and I a PINK party! It was great to get away for a couple hours to chat and be spoiled a bit. They showered us with lots of girly gifts, GREAT food, and lot of love! I am so blessed for each and everyone of their friendships. Thanks ladies for a GREAT afternoon! You don't even know how much it means to me! Love you guys!

If I could just add one more thing to "our" plate it would NOT be more sickness! Really! I mean isn't ear infections in a child that just had tubes in January enough already. Apparently NOT! For that we go back to the ENT on Wednesday. One tube is definitely out the other the doc couldn't see because of all the pus. Anyway, tonight as the boys are taking a bath I see red spots all over the bottom of Cole's feet. Upon closer examination some of those are blisters. Then I look on his hands to find more spots and another blister. His hiney has a rash on it as well, but really thought nothing of that the past couple days because it's kind of normal these days for him. Well that got me thinking. Our last gymnastics class a mom was telling me her little girl had hand, mouth, and foot disease earlier that week and just miserable. That was 2 Friday's ago. So tonight that immediately pops into my head. I'm pretty sure that is what he has (timing is just right) and of course it's something that has to run it's course...no treatment! (googled it) Luckily, I don't see any sores in his mouth and he hasn't been complaining of his mouth hurting...thank you Lord! His appetite hasn't improved either from when we first found out about his ears over a week ago. Another symptom. Please keep our little guy in your prayers not only for his ears but also for him to get over this quickly. The only think I'm thankful for is that he has it now and not in the next 4-8 weeks when we are expecting Chloe. So although this may put a damper on our last trip home to IL for this weekend, I think we all could use a little rest at HOME all weekend long.

I wasn't lying we've been busy! lol

Buddies!

Parker had his buddy Connor P. over yesterday for the afternoon. They attended VBS in
the morning and he came home with us. Well, lets just say these 2 boys both started crying as soon as LP pulled up. They had such a great time playing together they didn't want to stop. To be honest I've never seen these two play so well together EVER! They played the Wii, rode scooters, jumped on the trampoline, played cars, and played in the water...their FAVORITE! They had a blast together and did not want it to end. The sad part about it all, the more I thought of it, was it won't be much longer and his buddy will be moving this summer.

We met each other over 2.5 years ago when LP and I were both pregnant. Through attending many Moms Club functions we began seeing them more and more and the friendships grew for all of us. LP is one of those friends you meet and feel like you've known forever. Seriously, she is AWESOME...they all are! Their whole family is such a blessing to know and will be dearly missed by us Johnson's for sure! We are so excited about the new adventure that God is sending them on. They have touched many lives here in Clarksville and will continue to do so in Dyersburg. Those Dyersburg folks are about to get a truly wonderful family for sure. Anyway, now that I'm already in tears, the good thing is they will only be a 2.5 hours away. Yay!
Preschool graduation...P and C attended the same preschool and were in the same class.
We have truly been blessed by your friendship! Thank you for just being you!
