We'll be seeing more PINK!

It's a GIRL!
I'll be posting some pictures if my computer will be ever so cooperative and read the darn CD.
What we learned of our precious baby girl today is that she is modest (unlike her brothers). Luckily, we were able to tell that there was nothing floating around between the legs. We had
the tech looking for about 15 minutes just to see if we could get her to spread her legs wider. She had her ankles crossed the whole time. We're hoping this means that she'll be very lady like when she is 4 and wearing dresses. I guess that's if her brothers don't ruin her first. lol We are
just so blessed beyond measure that not only does she look healthy, but that we'll have a true
little princess in our house soon (that's not a DOG). She was also very calm and kept waving her arms and hands mostly. All of which I still don't feel very often at all. When she moves she likes to twist her whole body. That I do feel a lot. As far as names we have 2 we are deciding between. I think we are leaning more toward the new one I threw out to Bill the other day. Her middle name will however be Ruth after my grandmother which is also my middle name.
Thanks everyone for your prayers.

Good Deals!

My deal of the day happened to be at Kmart. They had double coupons this week. Well all of this (pictured above) before coupons was $108.97. After coupons I paid $44.37. Now I'm not sure about you but I think that is ONE HECK OF A DEAL. A savings of $64.60. Now I normally shop at Walmart and would not purchase these at Kmart. But doubling coupons up to $2 come on. I had to give it a try. I'm hooked needless to say.
Some of the deals:
Desitin price 4.29 coupon $2 which doubled to 4 final price .29
Clean and Clear scrub clearance price 3.24 internet coupon for $2 which doubled equals FREE
Colgate Diego toothbrush price 2.49 coupon for .75 which doubled to 1.50 equals .99
Dove bar soap on sale $6 for 6 bars coupon for $1 which doubled to 2 equals 4
Clorox wipes and Anywhere 2.99 each coupon for 1.50 off of 2 doubled to 3 equals 2.98 for 2

I've been looking into all the couponing stuff lately after Bill dvr'd an Oprah show the beginning of the month. I watched it this week and I think he was delighted to see me checking out www.couponmom.com when he came home that night. Then my bff Stephanie sent me this link
http://nicolesnickels.blogspot.com/
She posts some awesome deals and links to more blogs and stuff. I say check it out. Now if I could start getting good deals like this on my groceries I'd be one happy Mama.

Big boy bed!

Today was home improvement day at our house. That involved cleaning carpets and painting ceilings. It also involved putting up Cole's big boy bed, which I've been painting for the last week. With the bed up the crib is down...for a few more months anyway. The bed required rearranging his room. This first pic is where his crib used to be. The glider was on the right of where the dresser is now. (I really need to put the changing pad away! We haven't used it in ages) This is as you walk in the door. The dresser used to be here.
Looking in from the hallway. He knows its his bed and will says its his bed. I just hope
he remembers that tonight. He loves his "cow" (which he calls horses) sheets. I'm so
happy I decided to buy them just over a year ago at Pottery Barn Kids when they were
on clearance. They go great in his room.

The bed turned out great. With 6 coats of paint it looks pretty good. Not bad for costing a total of $25 for the bed. I'm thrilled with how his room turned out and it didn't cost very much either. Woohoo!

Speechless!

So I get on facebook tonight and noticed our pastor has tagged me in a photograph. I click and low and behold this photo comes up! Wow! I'm speechless! I took the photos for an upcoming sermon series at church. (And yes that is my wedding dress, veil, and tiara.) I had no idea that they would be used in local magazine ad for our church. Just WOW! I cannot even explain the way I feel right now. This is going to be published on the WHOLE BACK PAGE. God is so good!

Chillin' with my home boys!

This has got to be my new FAVORITE photo of my boys! We were out enjoying the little bit of daylight left playing basketball this evening when Cole sat on the step of the trike. I knew then I wanted a picture because he just looked too darn cute. Only thing is I didn't have my camera. So after a bit of playing basketball I ran in and got it. I told Cole to go sit on the bike with his ball. Well, if one does something the other HAS to follow. So after a little riff between them I setteled them down...I was willing to do whatever it took to take this picture of happy boys. Lucky for me they cooperated. So here are my home boys chillin' on the tricycle. Love it! I did not cock Cole's hat to the side either...seriously it was like that. And doesn't he look as big as P in this pic? Geesh that ages me.
Cole loves balls and basketball was his choice today. He loves to slam dunk and is pretty good at making baskets too. I think we may have a future basketball player on our hands.
Cole is sporting a new look the last week. It's a look that doesn't involve an attachment to his face. It's called the BINKY FREE 24/7 look. We tried to ween down to nap and bedtime. That didn't work to well. It wore on our patience hearing "I want my binky" or "I want my bobo" like 1,237,932 times a day. I had enough and cut the tip off of 1 of 2 we had one night while cooking dinner last week. That night was long because little did we know his 2 of 2 binky had a crack in it as well. So neither were satisfying to him. lol That night he proved to us he was a strong willed little boy for sure. He cried from 11-3 in his crib. I did sleep until 2 when I woke up to go potty and he was still screaming. I only slept because I shut my bedroom door as well and his as usual. He got like 3 hours of sleep that night. Surprisingly, he did really well at school the next day. Anyway, Thursday of last week the 2 of 2 cracked binky sufficed. He just had to have it in his mouth. Well Friday morning he lost it. Put him down for a nap without it and was fine! I found it during his nap and refused to give it back. So we have been BINKY FREE for a week. He's asked for it about 4 times and that's it. He cries for about 20 seconds at bedtime, but naps are a little more difficult. He taken to rocking but then wakes up when we put him in his bed. So I've started back to just our normal rock for 4-5 min. then into bed. He cried today for about 5 minutes and was out for 3 hours. It's going really well and we are LOVING it.

Enjoying the beauiful weather!

Parker fell asleep on his Gator outside the other afternoon. It was hilarious he was driving around acting like he was sleeping and ran into the basketball pole. He said he was ok so I went
about sanding Cole's bed. A few minutes later I look and he's asleep. I couldn't believe it. All the fresh air that day wore him out. Much to my dismay he fell sleep at almost 4. It was a late night for him. Sunday after church we took our recyclables to the dump. Just down from it is Outlaw field (airport.) Well the boys love to drive by and see all the little planes so we did. Well while turning
around in the parking lot the lady asked if we were there to skydive. Ummm, nope not quite. She was very nice and invited us to come and watch if we'd like. So we did. It was a gorgeous day
to spend outside. We got to see a couple planes take off, how they fold a parachute, and see people fall from the sky. It was pretty amazing to say the least. It was worth the wait for sure.

On the baby front, the ultrasound is scheduled for Thursday, March 5. I can hardly stand the wait. I just want to know so we can pick a name and start preparing for his/her arrival. The boys
are anxious too. Parker hugs and kisses my belly all day long. Almost to a point of being annoying. Cole though thinks he has a baby in his belly....so does Daddy! lol He's always asking me, "Mama belly hurt?" Luckily, I've been feeling pretty good the last week and I'm hoping it stays that way. I'm up 12 pounds so far and 8 was from this past month. I believe I will surpass
the 27 pounds that I gained with Parker very quickly. Not looking forward to being HUGE in every sense of what I'm picturing in my head. So if I tend to only leave the house for church and to drop the boys at school you'll know why. lol Some intervention may be needed then btw. :)
Excuse the yucky pics they were taken with my p&s and I was too lazy to even try to make them look better.
