Our Christmas

Decorating sugar cookies! So much fun this year and so less messy now that they are older. Chloe was napping while we decorated.
Parker's gift from Santa!
Cole's gift from Santa!
Some of the loot.
My favorite! Daddy put the Dart Tag target vest on Chloe and was shooting her as she would run around! It made my day.
All set for Christmas dinner! "Looks like Christmas threw up on the table!" said by Steffen as we sat down to eat. We had hickory smoked ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cherry fluff, homemade mac n cheese, and Hawaiian sweet rolls. It was so yummy!
All dressed up for church Sunday morning! She had a headband on for .092 seconds! At least she wore them when she was a baby!
A pic with Gramma Patty and Papa Paul.
We have progress! It's being built. This is what it will some what look
like. I love it and it will be even more amazing when my builder aka
hubby gets it all done. There will be another shelf at the very top with
crown molding at the top and it will all be painted white.

New "digs"

Super comfy chair with a little directors style table...love this little gem.
New rug...so plush and comfy found for a heck of a deal at HomeGoods in Nashville. LOVE
that store. The end table we bought will go where the tree is after Christmas. I love it, but it
didn't photograph very well.
It's amazing how adding curtain panels warmed up the room. I was going to say simply, but it
was all but simple putting the rods up!
We have stuff on the walls too! I found the windows at our Habitat ReStore and knew
I had to have them. I knew I wanted them over the couch, but they just weren't going
with the old red couch so they stayed put in the garage for a few months. The pics in the
middle were added by my husband. Super idea and they look AWESOME! I think he enjoys
decorating as much as I do! ;) However, he doesn't like the part where I want him to build a built in bookcase to the left of the couch in the above picture. I think he'll do great...he's pretty handy dandy like that once he gets started! A new coffee table and painting the fireplace walls a darker brown are all that need to be done yet! So there ya have it and there you are!

First snow day

Started out the morning watching some cartoons. Love how they all chose the same cushion to sit on when we have 2 couches and a chair to choose from. ;) This my friends is a rarity especially for P ad C.
Then we decorated our gingerbread house. Chloe was around to eat the candy...not too much of a help.
Our finished creation....they had fun and it took up about 30 minutes of the day!
Eating lunch and then right after this picture she DUMPED it all over the floor. Nice.
Our other creations we made today...aren't they cute!

Another snow day tomorrow...if I'm brave we'll leave the house. If I'm not we'll bake some cookies.

Fall photos

2 unhappy trick or treaters...can you tell which 2?
As good as it gets with my 3! Love it though! Their personalities shine through!
It's either all or nothing when it comes to smiles for this girl!

My little blessings!
And FINALLY a family photo! Maybe this one will get ordered and hung. Maybe.

My boy is 4!

I have mixed emotions about his birthday...kind of bittersweet! I enjoy seeing him grow and learn new things on a daily basis. I enjoy every bit of his wanting to cuddle with me. I enjoy his help working around the house. I enjoy seeing him conquer the next milestone (just recently started riding without training wheels!) I just enjoy him! Even though he can be a spitfire at times. My littlest boy is growing up and probably won't like me calling him my little boy much longer. "Mom, I'm a big boy and growing big so I can go down tube slides!" I hear this ALL the time. My boy he's growing up and way too quickly! Before I know it he'll be going to kindergarten. Until then I am going to try and remember to read that extra book, to give that extra hug, to play another game, "just a few more minutes Mom, okay!", that his clothes really don't matter as long as he's happy, and just enjoy life with my little loves!

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
Dr. Seuss

Happy Birthday George! ;)
All our love,
Mommy and Daddy
