An evening of bowling!

So today we stayed at home while Daddy was at work. P and I were bored...really bored. We are used to going somewhere doing something. So when Daddy came home from work he took us bowling and out to eat at Steak n Shake. The boys had a good time bowling. Cole didn't like walking up to roll the ball ,but once he rolled it he was good, "oh WOW" "GO, GO, GO" he would scream. On the way back we would give both boys high fives and knucks. It was a great game and was so nice not having to chase Cole around. He actually stayed right by us the whole time.

My lack of posting is due to my chronic cough. It's been going on for a week and a half now and I'm sick and tired of it quite literally. I've had a constant headache from coughing since Monday pretty much. My torso is sore and I just hurt. So I'll be making a call to the doctor tomorrow morning. Hopefully, they'll be able to fit me in so I can, hopefully get some relief with medication.

From today!

Since it was a gorgeous day today I decided to bring the camera with me as the boys played outside. So glad I did.

Daddy and the boys backed the van out of the garage so they could get the gator out. Cole kept waving and saying, "HI MOMMY!" It was cute and as much as a tire most times of hearing "Mommy" over and over and over again it brought a smile to my face and just warmed my heart. Really. He's growing up. :( Got this of P playing in our neighbors garage. LOVE it. I think I'm going to get it printed for the playroom.
And look at the smiles I get when I really am just out to get snap shots. This goes to show that it really doesn't matter that kids aren't in the "right" clothes for pictures. (I've proved this in the past taking pics of Dana's kids.) He was in a white Lightening McQueen t-shirt and gray shorts.
We went to the fairgrounds park this beautiful evening and fed the ducks. It was really funny all the geese were off in a large grassy area and were heading our way...they saw us throwing bread to 3 ducks. So P and I headed their direction. As they headed our way we started throwing the bread and all of a sudden like all 80 or so geese started like flying towards us. It freaked us both out, but was apparently pretty funny because other on lookers were busting a gut. We did manage to feed them without being attacked like we normally are.
The boys loved watching boats go by on the river. Here, one had just passed and Cole was bending over and looking side to side to see if there were more.

Some of Pman!

Since older girls can be ungrateful for FREE pictures I've edited P's. I told him to act mean here. lol
The cocked head...when I ask him to look and smile NICELY at me!
And one of us as we headed out to a luau Saturday night (sans boys). It was a wonderful night with great friends and the strongest knock you out margaritas I've EVER had. Luckily I felt perfect Sunday morning for church. Thanks LP for such a wonderful get together. You really should think about being a party planner. You have a knack for it!

Photoshoot evening

I took my sister, her roomate, and P out for an "urban" shoot this evening. I like this one of P, even though I used the flash. I've not edited anymore, so there will be more posted tomorrow.

So it's been awhile!

Haven't posted, been busy, house projects, swimming, visitors, and summer school...that about sums it up. And really how many pictures can I post of the boys swimming before they get old. Heres one of Pman helping Daddy clean the garage floor...hamming it up for me!

From the weekend

So the fourth was good. We stayed home and did projects around the house. Went to see the fireworks at Ft. Campbell just in the nick of time. We watched from the Oak Grove Walmart area. Perfection and NO traffic to deal with.

This is what Cole does ALL THE TIME lately...JUMP! Whether it's just running around jumping EVERYWHERE or jumping OFF of things. Notice all the balls behind him...well that is the basket to them that he is jumping off of. P blowing some big bubbles. Don't you just love their shirts? Found them at Lifeway. Thought I would forgo the Old Navy flag tee route this year.
And this is Pman tonight modeling his new pjs/lounge wear I made him. He LOVES them. He asked me the other day if I would make him some flower pants like mine, lol. I told him I would
love to make him some pj pants but out of tractor fabric. He HAD to have a matching shirt too. I bought it at HL and then appliqued the fabric on...easy peasy! He also has Cars pants too but won't wear them until he has a shirt to match...silly guy! So if you see us out and he is wearing his new lounge wear it's because I couldn't get them off of him. lol
And here is another project of mine this week. I found this little table at a flea market in KY last Sunday for $8. I couldn't pass up this adorable table and for that price. So I gave it a little TLC and it's good as new...love it.
Today we happened to see a car show happening down on Riverside Dr. and we stopped. Parker LOVES car shows. It was hot, but so worth it to see and hear Parker. Not only were there cars, trucks, monster trucks, but motorcycles as well. Oh wow look there is blue one! Oh wow look there is a red one! Oh wow that one has some cool flames! Oh wow look at that one! Of course I didn't have my camera on me either.
