Took the kiddos out the other night to a field of yellow weeds!

This little "princess" LOVES to play her Princess memory game over and over and over! We play a little differently than the rules and place the cards face up and I will tell her what to find and then she finds the matches. She loves that this is HER game and is always asking to play "princy" game!
Our firstborn! Since he's in school I don't get to take many pics of him. So the other day after school I made sure to snap a pic! 7 is such a fun age...kind of! He says stuff that is hilarious most days and we are like where does he come up with this stuff! Then other days like yesterday he disobedient and disrespectful and I just don't know what to do. I stayed calm and we got over it. Today was such a better day thanks to a dear neighbor who talked with him!
The boys were home with fevers today! However, it's funny how they were acting completely normal ALL day long! So our first "snow" or flurries (maybe 1/2 inch) of the year were today. Cole got out immediately and I snapped the pic above. Always posing that boy.
So today of all days I found time to sit, read, sip on my green tea and enjoy a fire (those little orange dots=fire). It wasn't long...I'm a mom remember! I think I need to do that more often. ;)
In November, we signed P up for Upward basketball. We heard about it through some good friends at church. It was a super quick decision to sign him up too....all of like 15 minutes because it was the last night. He's enjoyed practices thus far on Monday evenings and had a good time. Today was his first game and he had been dreading it ALL week. NERVOUS...pretty much sums it up. Today, however, he faced his fears and played the game. He even got the ball and was able to dribble! He even got to shoot it, but it was in the other team's goal! He did very well for his very first time playing basketball. Bill and I are so proud of him!
A mustache kind of night for my boys!
First off, Wow it's been nearly a year since my last post! Happy New Year! A few pics of the last couple weeks. Our tree...never did get to sit and enjoy a movie with the fireplace on. Oh well! I wasn't near as stressed as years past and that was delightful.
The kiddos playing on their "jumpy" on Christmas Eve! Love that they will stop for a couple minutes to appease me and my photography habits.
This girl...where do I start! The Monday before Christmas she decided to start potty training. All. on. her. own. She's been doing great! She even stays dry at night. That makes me so happy because her brothers still wet and wear pull-ups at night. So to have her do both makes me exstatic!
And that baby goes EVERYWHERE with her! To the gym, to Walmart, and even to bed! That baby is the ONLY baby she will play with. She's a baby snob...she does have other babies (that are neglected!) lol
And again with bed head, but those eyes and smile make this mama melt!
