Busy FUN day!

We started out the day with a little "mini" birthday party for Coley with Grammy and Papa. He totally LOVED the cake and this is NOT the worst of it. He actually got the cardboard out from under the cake and had it on his head like a hat for a second. LOL He totally devoured the cake which is completely opposite of P at this age. He didn't want anything to do with it at all. So this was a NICE change. The boys with Grammy and Papa J.
A family pic of us before we headed to church. (The boys look really excited don't they?) ;)
This evening we went to our church hayride. It was a bit chillier than we initially thought so we weren't completely prepared. Once they FINALLY started the bonfire we did manage to warm up. This is Twinkie (below) he is a miniture horse dwarf whose genes got really messed up. He is 1 year old and is FULL GROWN. He was just TOO CUTE and so soft.
And my boys...I just liked this one! I bought some new actions for photoshop the other day and used them on these pics. My pictures however are not of great quality so the actions don't look very good. They don't even compare to how good her (the lady I bought them from) pics look.

Hallo-wee-ones!

A glimpse of the trunk or treating...very cool!
This evening was our Moms Club halloween party and a GREAT time was had by all. Grandma Sue, Grandpa Bill and even Grandpa Paul came with us. Parker and Cole were in SPOIL ME heaven today.

Matching jammies!

Took this one of my boys last night. Cole is always dressed first after a bath because P usually stays in a bit longer to play. Well P wanted to have his jammies matching jammies too. He was so excited he said, "look Mommy I have jammies just like Coley!" The last 2 nights he's been wearing blanket sleepers just like Coley and LOVES it. So I think some more matching sleepers are in order for the both of them...if it prevents jammie wars everynight.

Last night they also enjoyed playing with Daddy. Coley is so funny when you play with him on the floor. He'll start crawling away like your gonna get him then stop and look at you. If you tell him your gonna get him he turns around and starts toward you. He then just buries his head into your legs or belly...whatever he can. It's so funny. Then he'll try to climb on your lap and stand up. Love that boy!

Feeling better?!

Take a look for yourself. I think he is! Look at that tongue, as he looks at his reflection smiling happily. LOL LOVE IT Tried to get another bathtub shot tonight. This is so much better than the last one...whipped out my flash.
Today P woke up a little horse (not the animal silly). It's been getting worse all day and a cough has joined in here in there too. Let's just hope it stays at that because we've got LOTS of FUN stuff planned this weekend.

Coley update!

He's doing better. Thank goodness. His ear has stopped draining. That was such a mess and well just gross. Giving him his medicine is quite a chore though. He's not a really good medicine taker. It's hit or miss with him. Parker on the other hand says he's sick so he can take medicine.
He's sleeping well and through the night again...WONDERFUL!

Solved!!

Well this morning we solved Cole's fussiness/crying all the time problem beside the cutting of teeth. Cole took a shower with me this morning and I noticed his ear was just gross...puss everywhere. I don't know how I didn't notice it when he got up. Anyway, I start freaking out and call the dr's office. They get us in right away this morning...thank goodness. Well turns out that he has a ruptured eardrum. Yes, ruptured, hence the reason he slept 12 hours straight through last night without an crying sessions. The pressure was gone. There is loads of pus coming out of his ear...unbelievable really. I've never seen anything like it. His "good" ear isn't the greatest either. A normal eardrum looks like saran wrap. Nice and shiny and moves a bit. His "good" ear looks like wax paper. That was all she said about that ear though. His "bad" ear was nice bright red she said and couldn't find the point of rupture because there was a lot of gunk in there even after she got a lot out. So he's on antibiotics 3 time a day for 10 days and also on ear drops 3 times a day for 10 days.

So I feel like a horrible mom for NOT calling the dr on Wednesday when it did actually cross my mind that what if his ears do hurt. If you could please add him to your prayers for a quick recovery. I hate that my baby is in so much pain.

He redeems himself!

Well so my hubby isn't such a bad guy afterall. He took off work this afternoon. I guess I wasn't
such sweetie when I came home with the kids after picking Parker up. I had taken both boys with me to the scrapbook store after picking up P and well I guess I'm really dumb for thinking I could possibly do such a simple task as walk around a store for 10 minutes with them. Parker was saying loudly as soon as we walked in the door, "I don't want to go to the scrapbook store!" Then he wouldn't leave the sample cards alone that Nichole has displayed there. I didn't want to have to explain to her that my child destroyed her cards. He kept knocking them over and God forbid the kid keep his hands to himself. Geesh! So I picked him up and said Let's GO! So we left came home, he ate, and is now napping. He's now been napping 4 hours. Heaven! So I have had time to go and run some errands by myself, FINALLY thanks to my thoughtful (most of the time) hubby. Love you.
